Principal’s Message

Tika Ram College of Education, Sonipat was established in 1975 in the memory of Ch.Tika Ram, who was a devoted follower of the ideals of Ch.Chhotu Ram. T.R. College of Education Sonipat has travelled a journey of 49 years of service to the nation. During the span of 49 years, the college has made remarkable progress in different spheres. The college is running two programs B.Ed and M.Ed. and is affiliated to DeenBandhu Chhotu Ram University,Murthal,Sonipat,Haryana. Tika Ram College of Education, Sonipat is one of the seven institutions run by The Tika Ram Education Society( Regd.) Sonipat. We offer teacher training programs designed to cater to various interests and career aspirations. The college has produced thousands of teachers who are serving at national and international level.The main objective of our institution is to enable prospective teachers to understand the interdisciplinary nature of educational theory and practice and its incorporation in teacher education. The institution provides the best infrastructure required for prospective teachers including well maintained building, smart classrooms, well equipped labs and library. Library provides a large number of books, magazines,research journals and facilities of online journals. It provides access to students and teachers for updated learning and research. We have a team of talented,research oriented associate and assistant professors having innovative skills of teaching. We believe in nurturing not only the

academic process but also inculcating values, leadership skills, research excellence and a sense of social responsibility among students . The unique spirit of Tika Ram College Of Education, Sonipat is democratic resilience and symbiotic relationship between the faculty and students. It strives to provide a stimulating active learning environment. It is an institution whose excellence is reflected not only in its ability to provide quality education but also as an alma mater par excellence.
