i. History of the Institution
Tika Ram College of Education Sonipat was established in the year 1975. It was first affiliated to Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. In the year 1976 it was affiliated to MDU Rohtak. From 2016 onwords it is affiliated to CRSU Jind. College is grant-in-aid from Haryana Government since 1975.

College is running teacher education course since 1975. It is grant-in-aid from Govt. of Haryana. It is one of the reputed college from Haryana and gives quality teacher education and is popular among mass. Education here is subsidized and fee charged is govt. fee.
